Hump Day

Don't know about you, but I was just needing that little extra push of motivation today on Hump Day. =)

Labor Day weekend is right around the corner, and a great time to rewind, relax, and review your "Me Routine." Make sure to take some time to review your skincare routine. Are you using your Nerium every night, after cleansing your face? Did you remember to rinse it off in the morning? Then I guess your skincare routine is still in place! Good thing Nerium makes it so easy!

But seriously- do enjoy the 3 day weekend!

Keep Calm and Be Strong (Momma)!

My baby starts Kindergarten tomorrow...

My sweet, beautiful girl.

She has grown into such a funny little thing. She'll talk and talk and talk my ear off.
She loves to sing, with serious expressions!
She is a monster on the soccer field, and a dynamic hitter on a softball field.

She's dramatic- emotional, playful, sincere.
Loves to play 'lion' and is great at giving 'high paws', playing fetch, and taking treats without biting.

My days with her are golden and will be with me forever.

And as she grows, I try to remember. I want her to be confident. Brave. Stand up for others and what she knows is right.

I came across this awhile back, and wanted to be sure to share with my fellow blogging friends. I was saving it for something special, and I think the Night Before Kindergarten is pretty fitting.

     Yes she's a Princess, she's my Princess.
But she's a curious, kind hearted, creative and strong Princess.

And off she goes to Kindergarten in the morning. Be with Lord, and give her strength to be brave, wisdom to be to be kind, and an energy that is full of love.

Happy 1 Month Birthday!

22 posts and over 1300 views later....

It's been exactly one month since I officially started using NeriumAD!

I have had so much fun this past 4 weeks blogging! Never knew I could do some much with my words. And funny pictures I find help too!

I thought about calling this my "one month anniversary." But the more I thought about the word "birthday", I thought it was more connected to my journey.

Here's why:
1. I'm growing, just like a baby grows into a toddler, and the toddler into a kid, and the kid, well you get the idea!
2. As I grow, I continue getting older and wiser!
3. And the best reason- my skin is smooth like a baby's bottom!

I'm very proud to say that I have a couple of interested people who are ready to experience NeriumAD for themselves! And I also have a few pictures to share of my own results with Nerium! Keep in mind, I'm a 30 year old wife, mom, and teacher. I have stress that causes acne, and some skin discoloration that I've had forever.

But here are my official "Before and Afters!"

I think the reddness in my face has gone down drastically! You can see the area of red on the bottom part of my check is pretty much gone! The discoloration is getting very close to one color, and I am sooo happy about that! And, just so you know, I took these 2 photos at the same time of day, after doing the same thing to my skin. The only difference is 4 weeks!

Here's another set for ya!

Here I don't tell quite the difference as my cheeks, but it just seems so much more smooth!

And one last set- just to show my entire face! Here you can REALLY see how much red is gone!!

 So.....

Just a Little Reminder!

Even when life gets hectic, it is so important to remember to take care of yourself! You deserve those 5 minutes of quiet time (even if it's found by hiding out in the bathroom!!). You deserve some time to improve your health, so take that walk or run. That's time YOU deserve to put your mind at ease or blast your favorite songs!

And most importantly, take time for your skin. Those few minutes tonight will save you later!

Good night Nerium Friends!

10 Things About An Elementary Teacher

10 Things You May Or May Not Know About Your Child's Elementary School Teacher!

1. I have not been to the grocery store in a week. And apparently we are out of 2 necessities. Milk. And toilet paper. (Hello scratchy paper towels).

2. I have not done laundry in over a week. Thank goodness for beach towels.

3. I have not cooked a home cook meal in over a week. And I can't eat any more McD's, Wendys, or Sonic. Thank goodness for small town restaurants.

4. My own child is being persuaded by her mother to go to school.

5. I don't even care about Facebook right now.

6.  I've been at school every day for the last 2 weeks.

7.  I got really excited (scratch that, emotional) when my parents came from out of town to bring me an adorable turquoise bookshelf that my mother repainted for me.  My dad put the old pencil sharpener on and my mom put the books on the shelves. Aren't they the best?!

8.  My email inbox is on overload. And I hate that.

9. My classroom is finished, materials are laid out, and plans are written. And that feels G.O.O.D.

10. I am going to bed as soon as I finish typing this post.

If your children are about to start school, let their teacher know how much you appreciate their hard work. A simple reminder from you means the world to us. That, and a Sonic drink of course. =)
