There's so much to say about my simple life! I am one happy momma. My husband, The King, and I have been married 9 blissful years. Together we have 2 little squirts, The Prince who is 8, and The Princess who is 5. They keep us very busy between school activities, sports, and church activities. But I wouldn't have it any other way!
I spend my days (Aug-May) in a classroom full of 8 and 9 year olds. I've been teaching 3rd grade for 7 years, and absolutely love my job! Of course, the additions of Pinterest and TeachersPayTeachers have truly reignited my spark of teaching! There are so many fun and new ways to teach, I just can't help myself!
My best friend and I have been buddies for 25 years. During that time, she's put up with my bossiness and the poor thing always had to be the "student" when we would play school. I guess from a young age I was destined to be a teacher! But when she would post various things about Nerium on Facebook, I'll be honest. I didn't get it. I never really looked into it much. Most of the time I didn't even read what she had written.
All that changed quickly when I saw her mother drive up to a birthday party for her son in her brand new Lexus! I could not believe that she had earned that through mulit-level marketing! I had to find out, for real. So I started talking to both of them, and deep in my heart, I just knew this was something I should do. I could feel it from the very beginning. When you know, you know.
I was nervous to share this with family and friends, dreading the "those get rich quick schemes never really work" speech. But not ONE SINGLE PERSON has said that to me. And I think it's because it's not a get rich quick thing. I know I have to work on it, and I'm excited to share my words (and real results!) with the world. I feel it's a positive thing I can do, and I'm sure to share that also when I tell people about it.
